shutdown command, i have tried but failed to use it please help with it.

I was wondering if there was a way to shutdown several pc's on a network at the same time, because i take care of about 40 pc's and at the end of the day someone has to turn them all off. so i was hoping there was an easyer way, preferably with batch files (reason being, becasue i'm used to using them and would be easyer).

oh my friend wanted some info from the school pc ( dnt have a clu why?) anyway he asked me if there was anyway to do it.

Ok i saw this from one of my dads programming progs, it's like a batch file but it has interactive menus and stuff, how can i do this?

ok so i have found this simple batch file that gets information about the ip addresess from the local pc and saves it as a .txt file where ever you want. anyway i tried adding to it but when i run it the .txt files are just empty there is nothing in it. this is the script ipconfig/all > c:\ip.txt c:>net view/all > c:\net.txt c:>net localgroup/all > c:\local.txt so the first line of code works fine but the other 2 lines just leave the .txt file empty, i have tried it with and without the c:> please help me i really want this to work.

As far as i know there is no way to do it under recovery consule.

As i have been doing some further research, i have found that venus was not a microsoft product, i do not know where it came from, but i am getting a copy of this os very soon, google showen up nothing about it. thank you for your time i will let you know what this os is like, aparently there is no know viruses for this os and some people i have been talking to say it's better then windows!

Ok i know this isent the rite place to be posting this but where esles? ok i have heard about windows venus and been wondering about it for a while now, people say that it was one of the most advanced and powerfull os's and the only reason they went down is because they dident have enogh money to keep the company runging. If anyone knows about it please some info would be great, does anyone know if it's freeware and if so where can i get it. Thank you for your time!

hello, i am new and was hoping i can get some help with my network, ok i take care of 40+ pc's and was needing to change the wallpaper on every pc all the time and need a simple solution to doing this through the network, please help it will make my job alot easyer and give me more time to do better things!
