  1. thanks but i tried JetAudio and it did not pick up the soundcard either i really miss being able to record from my sound card and am open to any suggestions.
  2. i used Audio Cleaning Lab by Magix all the time when i was using XP and it will run but will not record from the soundcard anymore and that is what i used it for most. i have tried several other sound recording programs and i have had no luck recording from the soundcard. just curious if anyone else has this need and if they have found anything that works. thanks

    Rtm?

one thing i am starting to really enjoy on this is that the sounds are much softer and when i unplug an external hard drive it doesnt sound like i just broke something. the same for all the other standard sounds like receiving email in outlook etc...

    Rtm?

i am planning on installing RTM this evening and unless i am missing it somehwhere i havent found any info on here on how it runs. i have been very satisified with RC2 but would like some feedback on RTM. Thanks
  7. has anyone tested to see if this works in RC2? thanks
  8. this is what i have been waiting for. the following is a description of what i did to sync my motorola Q but i am going to assume it will work for the rest of the WM5 devices. 1. open regedit 2. navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft" 3. create a new key named "WHOS" 4. connect your device 5. go to M$ update and check for new updates 6. you will see a new 7mb update available for Windows Mobile Device Center 7. choose download and install 8. be very patient and dont mess around with your device or windows because you might loose explorer etc.. but if you wait it out your happiness will begin shortly (it took nearly 15 minutes on my machine to finish) and when it was over i had no explorer but i did a ctr/alt/delete then logged off and back on again and the sync icon was in my taskbar and everything is syncing perfectly. i must say this is so much better than activesync and i am glad i no longer have to contemplate going back to XP just for syncing. enjoy ! ...
  9. so does anyone here have any idea when i will be able to sync my WM5 device with outlook in vista? i find it very annoying that i am using windows on my pc and pda and can not sync the most valuable information. the reason for my pda is to keep my info from outlook up to date on my pda so i can take it with me on the road. i know you can sync music and pictures and get into the filesystem but i would trade that in a second for outlook. thanks
  10. well i guess my question has been answered i was hoping i wasnt stuck with RC1 until next year. mainly because i dont know how much longer i can keep entering info on my PDA and in outlook. i really need the sync with outlook option for my pda. ...
  11. so will i be able to "purchase " a key to activate a RTM version next month or will it only be available to a select group till "whenever"? Thanks
  12. so if i am using RC1 5600 do you see any reason i should take the time to upgrade? if RTM is expected for next month will my key i have been using work with it? if no then what is next? thanks
