I have downloaded RC1, but not yet tested !...

Then I saw the oppurtunity to download this new RC2 from MS, so I used this link :

http://download.windowsvista.com/preview/rc2/en/download.htm

It was downloading but it crashed, and I lost my download.

Now if I go to the same link, I am redirected to :

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/

An from here only the previous RC1 is accesible !

So what happened ?

MS has closed its site for RC2 downloads ?

Is it permanent ?

Now what can I do to get this RC2 without the working link from MS ?

From any other sites (FTP, HTTP, sites persos, IP addresses, ...) ?

the download-site is closed, so don't have a chance to get the RC2 in a legal way.

andre is right,

RC2 was only out a short time because of the time frame MS has to inplement fixes based off of it.

This is almost definately THE LAST build that will be released as a Beta.

I know, but it doesn't mean their wont be another built right before rtm that goes ctp.

or maybe rtm might go ctp right before it goes retail.

like 30 day trial of vista, before it hits stores.
