  1. I think that in the latest test release, the method from SVCPACK is been removed. I haven't any IE7 package that install at T-13
  2. Yes I removed that option.. otherwise it would install at T-13 intead of slipstream into the source (or am I wrong here?) I slipstream Ie7 with the test release, and I have that option set in that file. All works well.
  3. Have you removed that option in .ini file? I haven't removed it but it works well... Have you tried to download again the update?
  4. KB905474 isn't available in Dutch, as far as I know it's only available in english and when using the same source and using IE7SVCPACK=1 WU doesn't complain. Ok, but the latest file in english is called WindowsXP-KB905474-ENU-x86-Standalone.exe and not as your file. This file has updated 5-6 days ago.
  5. I've got one for ya. when slipstreaming IE7 with hfslip-70226a, and run WU I still have to install 2 updates (KB905474 and KB928090) when using the same source and using IE7SVCPACK=1 WU doesn't complain. WinXP Pro NL KB905474 maybe doesn't install well because your system is in NL language and you have slipstreamed for English language or you haven't downloaded the latest one that is released some days ago.
  6. Simply LegitCheckControl.cab isn't updated so WU ask you to install KB905474 EDIT: Has someone an issue with svchost.exe service? Mine, at startup and sometimes when I use pc, takes 100% CPU usage.
  7. If you have used the Net Silent Maker by Tomcat, you can put those packages in HFSVCPACK directory
  8. Kiki I think that you should remove some addons/programs then try to install windows, after you have checked that all is working, you can add one addon/program. This is the best way to find why it doesn't working.
  9. Can you post your hfslip.log? So we can help you better
  10. For driver integration I use Bashrat Driverpacks (after I have slipstreamed windows updates with hfslip script), I haven't had any kind of error... maybe you can try it.
  11. I've tried but if I delete that string, IE7 doesn't start and some pieces of WMP11 doesn't install... You removed it post installation or before installation? Aaaaaahhh before I have misunderstood your words I have type a ; before the last string in that file after I have run hfslip script... I have tried now to "comment" that line after windows installation and works well. Thanks Tomcat for your patience HFSLIP uses the advpack.dll method at T-13 now. For you, that would be:rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %SystemDrive%\Custom\Cursori\Aero\Install.inf,DefaultInstall Thanks, I'll try in this way. Thanks a lot
  12. I tried to download today the LegitCheckControl.cab, but Microsoft hasn't released a new one yet, so I've done one by myself. I'm testing if works. I tried in this way: - I've downloaded this update - I've unzipped the old LegitCheckControl.cab and I've copied the LegitCheckControl.inf to Desktop - I've unzipped with Winrar the update that I have download on Microsoft site, and after I've unzipped, also with Winrar, WGANOT~1.EXE, and copied LegitCheckControl.dll to Desktop - Edited LegitCheckControl.inf in this way (the last string): FileVersion=1,5,0723,1 To: FileVersion=1,7,0017,0 The last step is to create a cab file called LegitCheckControl.cab with these files inside: LegitCheckControl.dll and LegitCheckControl.inf (cabbed with WinAce) It doesn't work I've tried but if I delete that string, IE7 doesn't start and some pieces of WMP11 doesn't install... EDIT: I've a question for you. I have tried to install an inf file by cmd file at T-13, but if I do that windows installations will fail. It will execute HFRUNONCEGUI at T-13. I have installed inf file with this method (the only one I found): %SystemRoot%\System32\rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 4 %SystemDrive%\Custom\Cursori\Aero\Install.inf There is another method to install it?
  13. You have done the same error You have created a directory with a space in its name. Rename "Kiki temp" in "Kiki" (without quotes) and all works fine P.s. Sorry for my previous explanation This is not true... The bug is when there is a directory with space in their name as Documents and Settings or Kiki temp. Tomcat has forgot to type quotes (") in file paths So if you have a directory with a space in its name there was that bug. Maybe this bug there is for file name too.
  14. Your HF directory is placed in Documents and Settings? I think that Tomcat has forgot to type " in the script... if you place the HF directory in another place it should work
  15. hi S3pHiroTh! i'm not sure if this is what you meant ... but this could be a little relevant: HFSLIP in Add/Remove Programs? I have read the topic, but there isn't a safe way to delete that entry (the entry in list of installed programs is easy to delete, but not the one that I mean). I have seen that if I edit SYSOC.INF, there should be some problems. May we know why you would want to remove that? Simply I want a "clean" Windows installation... That's all
  16. Only the Test release slipstream into the source IE7, the latest final build installs IE7 with SVCPACK method at T-13 and there isn't any problem to install... if you have some problem, check the file you slipstream (for example, I saw people to slipstream IE6 hotfix and IE7 installers, in this way IE7 doesn't install) or you need to Activate Windows before the first wndows logon.

  18. "Show Desktop" icon shows on my Quick Launch toolbar. Am running from a 70220a run. XPSP2 English. In mine it doesn't show... mmmhhh... maybe some update remove it?
  19. There is a way to remove this voice below?
  20. I have used once again this script and I found a small issue. If I set the option in .ini file as the file attached, and in the script directory there are net framework 2.0 and 3.0 packages, it create both installers instead of only 3.0 _SNM.ini
  21. Ok, thanks Tomcat. I'll test all tomorrow
  22. Yes now the files before DRIVER.CAB are been added. Thanks Tomcat Another question, yesterday Microsoft has released this update: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en Is it supported by hfslip or must recode something in the script? I have slipstreamed the previous patch msxml6-KB927977-ita-x86.exe in DNF3.exe, should the script (the one for net packages) be updated?
  23. Can you try without KB928089 update? I haven'it and IE7 is installed properly and without error. Except for a small issue in setuperr.log
  24. Ok I have tested this again with option D selected. This log is the result. TestD.rar
  25. Hi Tomcat I've tested this build, I have see another error in setuperr.log, the error is this: Impossible to register OLE control C:\Windows\System32\pngfilt.dll. Error: GetProcAddress has return error 127 (impossible to find specified procedure).
