I scrounge the net for my drivers. I look for all the updated drivers for my system, from the CDRW, to the NIC. ONce I get them all downloaded I put them on a CD. I leave the CD open in case I have to burn additional drivers. Works like a two peckered camel.

switch to hand grenade or even get rid of your weapon by hitting Q. Then run in a zigzag pattern. Ducking behind the tripod barricades as necessary. YOu can time the bullets too. I try to keep low and after the first wave I run. Then I duck behind a tripod and wait for the second round, after which I run again. It is very hard, but for some, luck provided it is very easy!

One other thing, does your router have a firewall? If so you might have to forward the ports, disable the firewall etc...

All I know is I had it, and sniped the bastards. Oh, yeah, its after you run in the mortar holes, I got the sniper rifle. Then YOu snipe them. YOu can also use your machine gun to zap them. Use the c and z keys to bend your a** over to get em.

A sweet easter egg has just been found in MoH! Here's the full e-mail:
In the sniper's last stand level, on hard difficulty, I managed to save all allied soldiers (5 I think). On the next level I got to the tank with all the tank crew alive and all the soldiers from the next level also alive (counting me, we were 7 allied soldiers).
After I got to the tank my screen went blank and the sign "You have 60 seconds to find a safe hiding spot and then Bazooka-Med will be on your trail", then I saw a countdown and after that the camera switched to Bazooka-Med and "Ready or not, here I come!" appeared. After that Bazooka-Med went looking for me through all the level until he found my trail (don't know how) and "BAZOOKA MED HAS THE TRAIL!!" appeared, he went where I was hiding, shot me with the bazooka and "You lose. Hide better" appeared.
After that, I continued with the normal Tiger tank level. I don't know what happens if bazooka med doesn't find me. I'll keep on trying. By the way, on my list of saved games I have a new savegame called "The Void - Starting".

Going into options will get you a list of all the keys and what they do Xperites.

When you get past the barbed wire, snipe the two guys shooting the MG42 - mounted machine gun turrets [German] but you need to kneel down, hit the c key and snipe them. I usually snipe them after the two privates run across. Though I think you can snipe them before. Then snipe the guys in the top of the concrete bunkers. Be careful when you run across and stay in the pits, because of landmines.

Ok bump the price up about 100-160 bucks for retail. I have never personally had any problems with OEM, though I know they make retail a bit better based on the fact that is boxed in a nice new wrapper and is aimed at the PC builder/upgrader who demands more, but I think as long as it comes with a warranty, and you want to minimize the cost, go for it.

IS THE MX VARIETY AND I HEAR IT IS ABOUT ON THE SAME SPEED AS THE GEFORCE3 TI200, THOUGH I COULD BE MISTAKEN.
As for 1200 bucks, are you getting that CPU gold plated? Titanium case? What gives? I think someone is bending you over and reaming you.
if this is a complete system go for a pentium4 2.2 or 2.0, 512MB RAM, 80 Gig HDD, DVD + CDRW drive, Floppy, Firewire, GeForce4 Ti 4400, ALuminium case etc... I mean hell, you better really comparison shop. I think I could get the above system for around 1200-1300 dollars easily.

that site is nice for repairing XP.
[b:d1546cd85c]Fast tips[/b:d1546cd85c]
To repair the Windows NT/2k/XP boot sector on Fat partition
Windows NT installs a boot sector that launches NTLDR and displays the Windows NT boot menu. If you lose this boot sector, BootPart can restore it.
Boot under MS-Dos (this can be MS-Dos 6.22 on your hard disk, on an MS-Dos bootable floppy, or the "MS-Dos 7.0" included in Windows 95 (you can obtain it by pressing Shift+F5 when Win95 loads). Then, enter the command :
BOOTPART WINNT BOOT:C:
If you want to remove the WinNT boot sector, you can replace it with the command "BOOTPART DOS622 BOOT:C:" or "BOOTPART WIN95 BOOT:C:"
http://www.winimage.com/bootpart.htm
bootpart file is above

Hope this helps, sorry about your poor experience with XP thus far, but really once you get the kinks worked out, you will be very pleased.
One other thing, it could be your BIOS, you might want to try to update it.
ANother thing is to check your RAM like reverend said, additionally, if your BIOS supports it, you might want to bump down your memory to the next lowest level example from 133---->100, 100--->66. Give that a go.
And my last shot-in-the dark is to change the position of your HDD on the IDE cable. See if that does anything for you.

Just kidding man,
really though 20 applications??? I have 62 installed and tons more downloaded. I had to do a reinstall of XP once before with about twice that amount. 85 gigs keeps me busy.
But to address your issues,
A.) F1 to resume, two things I can think of CMOS battery is failing, stuck key etc...
http://www.cubix.com/support/techinfo/manu...030/4030-ab.htm
check this page out, it seems you should be getting an error message, if so what does it say?
B.) Does your sound work? If so, check your msconfig and make sure everything is checked. Next try a diagnostic startup, and the a normal start up.
I know you said you did it right, but just to triple check did you follow this totally...
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Click Sound, Speech, and Audio Devices.
Under Pick a task, click Change the speaker settings.
In the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties dialog box, on the Volume tab, select the Place volume icon in the taskbar check box, and then click OK.
C.)What do you mean it corrupted your setup? Have you tried a driver rollback? Maybe that will help. ANother thing is to just reinstall the driver.
These are about as good of an answer as I can give at this time.
Good luck

Ok, well I must say one thing, I don't personally give a rats a**. I just thought it would be kewl to have the ability to protect an image, a icon, and other artwork from being copied or manipulated especially when considering the time it takes to make such things. I too think the internet should be open a free for all. Who gives a rat right!

Weapon Skinning Walkthrough by MPowell1944
Follow this Step - By - Step Guide to create a new Thompson skin...
1. create a folder in /main called Pak2
2. double click on Pak2.pk3 and open with winzip
3. extract Pak2.pk3 to the Pak2 folder
4. exit winzip
5. create a folder in /main with your name, for example...."bob"
6. create a folder called textures.....inside the "bob" folder
7. create a folder called models.....inside the textures folder
8. create a folder called weapons...inside the models folder
9. create a folder called thompsonsmg....inside the weapons folder
*you have just created the mirror directory of the thompsonsmg*
10. open up photoshop (or paint shop pro)
11. click file-open
12. goto your /main folder and find the Pak2 folder
13. double click on Pak2 folder and then double click on the textures folder
14. once inside the textures folder double click on the models folder
15. once inside the models folder double click on the weapons folder
16. once inside the weapons folder double click on the thompsonsmg folder
17. double click on thompsonsmg.tga
18. edit the look of the weapon to your pleasing (experiment for best results)
19. click file-save as
20. goto your /main folder and find your "bob" folder
21. double click on the "bob" folder and then double click on the textures folder
22. once inside the textures folder double click on the models folder
23. once inside the models folder double click on the weapons folder
24. once inside the weapons folder double click on the thompsonsmg folder
25. now save thompsonsmg.tga to this folder (the path should look like this...
/main/bob/textures/models/weapons/thompsonsmg
26. exit photoshop (or paint shop pro)
27. goto your /main folder and double click on the "bob" folder
28. right click on the textures folder
29. select "Add to Zip" from the drop list
30. you should now be at the winzip add to archive screen
31. you will see a path highlighted near the top of this dialog box
32. retype the path so that is directed to the /main folder
33. after /main on the path, type....for example..."bobsgun.pk3"
(make sure that it says .pk3 and not .zip!!)
34. now click ok and check your /main folder to make sure that "bobsgun.pk3" is there
(just right click on "bobsgun.pk3" in the /main folder to check that it is a .pk3)
35. now start MOHAA and your new gun will be with you
*at this point you are now a newbie modder*
There it is folks the instructions, I am debating doing this. It sounds kewl. Maybe I can take the rocket launcher skin, and add it to the Thompson SMG. What do you think?

Subject: xp file sharing problem
Reply:
I was having the same frustrating problem. I finally did this and it worked: uninstall TCP/IP (in 'My Network Places' > properties)on both the server pc and the notebook. Reboot and reinstall. Then make left click on the drive(s) on both pc's to insure that 'sharing' is correctly set.
That should do it...
That was taken from the following site:
http://www.computing.net/windowsxp/wwwboard/forum/10840.html
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Next I suggest you check out this site!!!

AND here
http://www.wown.com/j_helmig/wxppntsh.htm
AND here

Another suggestion:
Install XP on the laptop. Then try your file sharing.
