Sorry, I am not sure. This computer is from my secretary to use. Thus the low end gigabyte motherboard. But all of the hardware of the motherboard was detected 100% even the modem which is some generic piece of s***. I wish that sp3 will include more drivers for popular motherboards.

i just want to inform everyone that Windows XP 64bit has a lot of integrated drivers. While as before with my windows xp 32bit, i had to use BTS drivers pack with XP 64bit, it automatically installed the drivers. AMD 64 3000 Motherboard gigabyte kb triton motherboard GA-K8VM800M everything was auto installed. now if i can only find out how to integrate the via sata / raid drivers. wink wink bday wish... BTS

My story, I spent like a couple of hours trying to install Windows XP 64 this afternoon. I downloaded the drivers from via placed the drivers into a floppy drive for the life of me. every time i try to install it says it can't find the viasr64.sys u know what... it turns out there was something wrong with the floppy drive or floppy controller. i dont know. I just switched to a usb floppy drive and everything installed Fine. Installation took about 15 mins... is that normal?

Working with the Final Release of 64bit XP My VIA SATA drives are not found. will have to find a way to integrate them in the future.

Is there a way to disable unsigned driver window completely? is it a service that we can turn of via registry tweaks?

Simon living and studying in japan for a couple of years. I can tell you this is not how most people write The Chinese and Japanes keyboard is slightly different. We spell out the sound of the word we want. The input is Hiragana and Katakana, then the Operating System will produce a list of words to choose from (Since Chinese and Japnese words sometimes have multiple meanings this is a must) You can equate it with using intuitive text on celphones. But a little different Base on the sound, the Operating systems guess what word you want and u select it from the list. It isn't very hard once u get use to it. Most Chinese and Japanese know about 6,000 to 8,000 thousand characters. Quite a few more than then english alphabet.

i can give u the upgrade bec. it is free but for the program i can't sorry i just looked at my notes my winrar (powerdvd) has only setup.exe -s as the switch why are u using iss for powerdvd roxio sucks u should educate your employeer about the benefits of nero over roxio.

the only time this ever happens is if u have roxio and nero at the same time.

Disable %systemdrive%\install\bootscreen.cmd [shell] CustomDefaultThemeFile = "%WinDir%\Resources\Themes\campina.theme" try again. let me know if it hangs again. do not use a custom bootscreen or theme if u dont know what u are doing. I highly suspect this is the root of your problems.
