  1. No, definitely not. You can' t use IE 6. IE 8 is needed exclusively to access MU web site. Or use WSUS server method if it is working in your system. Unfortunately, there is and will not be another solution. I gave you a lot of tips how to solve your problem. There is no more to say. IE 6 is outdated, unsupported and crap. Sorry, truth has to be told!

  2. @WULover Use Onepiece's Update Pack French version called "OnePiece Windows XP Post-SP3 UpdatePack v1.0.9 FINAL FRA - (French)": https://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/12210-onepiece-xp-post-sp3-aio-international-update-packs-final/ It was last updated on 06/22/2017.

  3. If IE 8 doesn't work in your XP system, then you have to reinstall from scratch. Usually IE 8 works in every XP system. If not, your Windows XP installation is faulty. Restoring access to MU needs updates relating to IE 8. Maybe the WSUS server method works, but I don't think so. Reinstall XP and use an offline update pack. Then restore MU and let it look for missing updates.

  4. Welcome to the forum! At first you should provide information about your system. Which OS do you use i.e. from which operating system do you want to access WU using IE 6? And why IE 6? You should install the more recent version IE 8 if possible!

  5. If you take the title of this thread so precisely, then your posts are logically off-topic. But as far as I can see, programs are also posted here that are still Windows XP compatible. But to be on-topic I have found a web site of Tracker Software containing the "latest" versions of their programs PDF-XChange Editor and Editor, PDF-XChange Standard Printer, PDF-Tools and PDF-XChange PRO. All programs are version 7.0.328.2. Version 8 and higher do not support Windows XP anymore. Here is the link: https://www.tracker-software.com/knowledgebase/399-Microsoft-has-Ended-Support-for-Windows-XP. Kind regards, AstroSkipper

  7. You're welcome! It has been a lot of work indeed. I did that all especially for people not familiar with this kind of stuff. But now it's finally finished if something can really be finished. In any case, thanks for your support!

  8. That's fine! Glad to hear it's working for you. Our systems seem to be very similar in fact.

  9. You're right. Selecting a non-relevant lastly installed update is a safe way for testing. I think it will work. You know our systems are a bit like twins.

  10. When I had analyzed the problem I added HTTPSProxy to winhttp by executing command proxycfg -u and I got the same error code 0x80096010. Microsoft doesn't trust its own certificate of wuident.cab file all at once. Surprisingly!
