donixa Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 - Is nLite portable application ?- if yes, how portable is it ? 100% or what...- what about the runtime... i use FrameworkLite 2.0 R3thanks,
donixa Posted April 18, 2008 Author Posted April 18, 2008 i like the concept of being portable, thats one reason,my pc use all portable apps, except sound driver and cable modem driver...so its not portable right ?
Martin H Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 nLlite by itself is portable, but the lite .NET framework depends upon two things besides just the files in the nLite subdirectory; mscoree.dll in %windir%\system32\' and a reg-entry which i cannot remember the name off(as i don't personally use nLite anymore, so i cannot check it and this is just from my memory...), but it relates to the .NET framework being installed...
nuhi Posted April 18, 2008 Posted April 18, 2008 Download selfextracting nLite and you have a portable version.Installer's only difference is the uninstall info in the reg.
