spike4real Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I'm experiencing the exact same problem. did you ever find a solution?
spike4real Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Ah ha! I've solved the mystery! If you read the guide to EasyBoot it says...1) Make a folder named 'xpen' under 'c:\easyboot\disk1'2) Copy 'win51' and 'win51p' (from root directory of original CD) to 'c:\easyboot\disk1'3) Copy I386 folder to 'c:\easyboot\disk1\xpen'Where really it should say copy win51, win51p etc into both disk1 and xpen
Albertoni Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Yeah, it's just a strange problem. I guess there'll have to be more editing, including throwing things into different folders.
commifo Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Hi Spike4real,Took your idea - i tried your steps using Magic Iso Maker but no success. here are the descriptions: copied Win51 , Win51p, and WIN51IP to the root folder and also to IWXP folder (i386 copied from Installation cd, renamed as IWXP located in the root folder of Magic Iso Maker. do you have any suggestion ? thanks alot in advance.
GreenMark909 Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 (edited) I understand this post has been a while, but i'm hope someone could contribute to my unsuccessful Multi-Boot with MagicISO in the making.Ok, I found this tutorial here: http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-cre...multi-os-cd.htmAccording to this information they only show how to edit Win98, Win2K and WinXP 32bit. I have a few of WinXP 64bit discs that I would like to compress it into one neat DVD instead.WinXP 32bit has a folder called: i386-However-WinXP 64bit has both i386 and AMD64, the differences not eded there. In 32bit both SETUPLDR.BIN and TXTSETUP.SIF within i386 folder and 64Bit version it has SETUPLDR.BIN in i386 and TXTSETUP.SIF in AMD64So i guess my question is how to compile a MULTI-BOOT-DVD Windows XP's 64bit with MagicISOWindows XP 32bits *.SIF file is to edit [sourceDisksNames.x86] but in 64Bit it has another section called [sourceDisksNames.amd64]Any feedback will be much appriciated.
