ripken204 Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 does anyone know what services are required for network descovery to work? i am trying to enable network descovery but if i click "on", then it will just go to "off".
dimas2000 Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 There should be an arrow on the right side with options to turn it on/off. Make your selection and apply. If the oprions are not enebled, open the Windows firewall and enable it there.
ripken204 Posted June 20, 2007 Author Posted June 20, 2007 did you read my post? i tried that... there must be a service that was disabled that wouldnt allow me to do this.i reinstalled vista anyways, i thought that it was about time to do it, i had so much junk in there. i also got rid of my dual boot w/ xp.
