Remster Posted June 17, 2007 Posted June 17, 2007 I currently have windows server 2003 installed on another PC and I have tried booting windows XP from a CD in the bios but it hasnt worked. It just keeps going through without booting it. Any ideas?

Furthermore, have you check whether your cdrom drive is okay?Check your BIOS setting also that CD-ROM is the first boot deviceIts possible becoz when we perform clean install in new hard disk, there is no need to set CD-ROM as the first boot device becoz its passes their priority first in absent of OS.
