Remster Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 I currently have windows server 2003 installed on another PC and I have tried booting windows XP from a CD in the bios but it hasnt worked. It just keeps going through without booting it. Any ideas?Are you sure your cd is bootable ? Furthermore, have you check whether your cdrom drive is okay? Furthermore, have you check whether your cdrom drive is okay?Check your BIOS setting also that CD-ROM is the first boot deviceIts possible becoz when we perform clean install in new hard disk, there is no need to set CD-ROM as the first boot device becoz its passes their priority first in absent of OS.
