Ihithisham Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 I've been trying to create the unattended CD with the provided guide. Everything has been successful except when adding files and folders to create the CD, $OEM$ get renamed as _OEM_, in which case the folder is not installed when XP is installed.I am using Roxio CD n DVD Creator 6. Has anyone else experienced this, and if is how have you managed to get around this.TYIA
gamehead200 Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 Use either WinISO or CDIMAGE to create the ISO...In my opinion, Roxio products suck...You would be better off using the above programs or Nero...
eXPerience-XP Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 no dont do that jus choose the Joliet filesystem and it should be fine... i encountered the same error
ahmedramzi Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Use WinISO to open the attached file, it contains all the settings, all you have to do is to drag & drop your windows xp files.then click "Save" & it will add all the files to the predefined ISO image.when it's done, you can use any CD Burning software to burn it to a CDempty_xp_isos.zip
