  1. Is there anyway one could format a SATA drive in DOS prompt. What I mean is boot the computer with a Windows 98 boot floppy and access the drive with a drive letter. I've tried this but unable to access any drives. I've got two SATA and two IDE drives in my system. Any help would be appreciated. This is very useful to re-image a back up of a drive in the event of a crash. I've done a back up using Norton GHOST.
  2. I've been trying to create the unattended CD with the provided guide. Everything has been successful except when adding files and folders to create the CD, $OEM$ get renamed as _OEM_, in which case the folder is not installed when XP is installed. I am using Roxio CD n DVD Creator 6. Has anyone else experienced this, and if is how have you managed to get around this. TYIA
  3. I have the same probem. The cause of it is when the CD image is created and when the files are being copies (i.e Roxio CD Creator 6), the folder $OEM$ gets renamed to _OEM_. The message is that it is to keep with the file naming format specified when creating the bootable CD. I have the same problem, so if someone could enlighten me it would be very helpful. TYIA
