Windows 2003 Services Configurations

Does Anybody know a webpage that explains what services

you can turn off in windows 2003 when it is used as a stand

alone desktop pc ?

only page i know is blkviper.com for win2k and XP and

it could be ages before he gets around to writing one

for 2003 as he has other projects to do first

anything u can turn off in XP u can in 2k3... also have a look @ anything that is set to automatic.. if it looks like something u dont use set it to manual.. reboot and c if windows turned it on.. if its not turned on disable it..

Thanks for the thoughts and trying to help

But id rather avoid the trial and error path

if i can as when i tried it i got odd errors

like DirectX9 refusing to install with windows

saying it has not passed microsoft logo

:rolleyes:

Maybe it best if i just wait until Blkviper

does a guide :)
