Koler Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 Hi all, at the beginning of a regular XP setup you can choose what drive/partition to install XP onto, also with the option of doing a full/quick format. What tags do I need to have this show with my custom install? Thanks all.
RyanVM Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 The only way you can get the format window is if you create a partition first. The easy solution is to delete the partition you want to format, then recreate it. Doing so will then bring up the format option.
Sunil Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 ;SetupMgrTag[Data]AutoPartition=1MsDosInititated="0"UnattendedInstall="Yes"[unattended]UnattendMode=FullUnattendedOemSkipEulA=YesOemPreinstall=YesTargetPath=\WINDOWSRepartition="Yes"Unattendswitch="Yes"WaitForReboot="No"OemPnPDriversPath=Drivers\Catalyst3_6\2KXP_INF;Drivers\asus\sound\The two colored parts will automatically repartition for you, if the repartition part is null then no partitioning will occur.if the autopartition is = 0 then it will prompt you for the partition to install on and give you the options to delete the partition and reformat.
