good question, i searched for this also, but found nothing.

Type 'imagex /info /?' and you'll see how it's done, for example:

imagex /info d:\imaging\data.wim "My Old Name" "My New Name" "My New Description"

I used the name to specify which image to rename above but you'll most likely want to use it's number instead:

imagex /info d:\imaging\data.wim 1 "My New Name" "My New Description"
