therube
How To Integrate Custom Settings Into WINNT.SIF?How do you integrate desired settings into winnt.sif? For me, the only time winnt.sif settings seem to be parsed, is when I use nLite, selecting Unattended. And in selecting Unattended, it overwrites any custom winnt.sif file that I may want to use (with settings not afforded through nLite).WINNT.SIF Values Not Being Interpreted
strotee76
If your source has a WINNT.SIF in the i386 directory, then nLite will prompt you when you choose Unattended, warning you that your settings will be overwritten. (it does for me anyways)
Innocent Devil
its okay strotee76 but if i already hav a custom winnt.sif fileand i need theme integration i hav to manually replace the winnt.sif file after nlite sessionto Nuhi : please consider this issue
therube
Yes strotee76, I am prompted to overwrite. But as Innocent Devil says, if I do overwrite, I loose my customized settings. And then if I do as Innocent Devil says, manually replace winnt.sif after the fact, then I run into other problems with my WINNT.SIF Values Not Being Interpreted at all?
