Hello arabianhorse,

could you please tell a little bit more detailed how you were integrating the updates. And where you got this report from (location).

I could imagine that you may have to rebuild the catalog in WSIM by opening the modified install.wim. Than - based on this modified catalog - rebuild your answerfile and try again.

Regards,

Martin

Thank you for your help guys, you made my day.

I created a new answer file and problems solevd and done with.

Just wondering... why did I have to create an answer file and many options could not be used. So I made a very simple and basic answer file.

It all started after integrating the hot fix

mr-FireGeier, I used your method http://firegeier.unattended-sponsor.de/en/updates.html

and I folled your instructions strictly but it did not work. So for feedback, I wanted you to know

Finally, I wanted to really thank you greatly for your time and your help and all the great work you did. I really appreciate your input

Have a nice day both of you

:hello:

Hello arabianhorse!

Thank you very much for your feedback! I will try to reproduce your error and do some further experimentation with it. I guess that the PublicKeyToken value changes after an update integration has finished and this will cause the error message.

Regards,

Martin

How to reproduce :

Slipstream hotfixes in a clean version of Vista and use an old XML file , delete all the packages from the old XML and import the new packages, now try to save the XML
