For PHP, the best place to learn would be from its actual home:

http://www.php.net/

Whenever I am trying to figure something out, I usually visit that site and look for something that may help me! :) Works 99% of the time!

just as he said. same goes for mysql.com

as for apache, theres nothing to learn, its just the program that runs the server.

i find it hard to just learn something without having a purpose. do you have a particular site that you want to make?

W3Schools has great guides on the basics if you're just starting out. I found PHP.net and MySQL.com a little overwhelming when I first started learning.

Amen; that's a great resource. I learned a lot there. Unfortunately, their examples aren't always the most useful when put to real use. :(
