have vista ultimate, think i'll try vlite and read many of you use in a virtual program

i think i understand what virtual pc is, so i downloaded it.

i take it its kinda like installing an OS on a hardrive but its within windows vritually?

now what?

it asks to select an OS..which one....how do i install vlited disc into it?

should i select the size ram that i currently have? or is this just saying it needs X amount or what?

finally it asks for a virtual hard disk...i'm stuck here, i only have one hard drive...this isnt seeming very virtual.

You would have more luck reading the forums of the software you are trying, and simple Google search would reveal plenty guides. Don't be offended and put some effort in it.

well im kinda familiar with vmware which i think is free

after setting up the virtual system and allotting it space to save its files

basically you make the iso then boot from it and go from there.

if the iso works then you made a successful vlite system

vmware is not free but i have used parallels and vmware both of which u can obtain a trial licenses i had gotten a bsod when installing vista in parallels because of some irq error but works flawlessly in vmware i ran it in v6 but have not ran it in v5 but the best bet is download it and try it ur self its pretty simple to set up
