On the vmware site there is some info about this.For me it worked after I selected Windows XP compatibility for the installer and disabled that user account protection stuff. rsgeiger Posted May 14, 2007 Share Posted May 14, 2007 Try creating a shortcut to the installer. Go to the propperties of the shortcut and there should be an compatablity setting under one of the tabs. If all else fails, right click the shortcut and say "Run as administrator".
