Hi,

I have a HP P4 3.2 2GB Memory PC. The MB is under ASUS OEM. I want to know if anyone know how to break the lock of the BIOS because now I cannot change the CPU speed, Ram speed, Timming......etc.

I want to dp some OC stuff. Could some of our friends help??? :blushing::blushing:

Thanks!!! :thumbup:thumbup

afaik there is no way to use the BIOS to overclock unless someone created a BIOS meant for overclocking. you could try using a program like clockgen to overclock your comp... it may also not work but its worth a try. what is the exact model of ur mobo?

Most probably you have a ASUS PTGD1-LA Goldfish mobo. Northbridge cooks at stock speeds and the cooling on this mobo is dismal. I find the board to be a bit unstable as it is..... trying to OC with it is pretty pointless unless your doing it to amuse yourself.

Plop down $60- your $ limit and replace the mobo (don't forget your cooling too... ;) ) if you are looking to OC.

If you have this board....you have Intel on-board video. Look for a vid card / mobo combo and you'll see a world of improvement.
