Proper way to integrate nVidia ForceWare into XP?

I have a new computer on the way, and I have the following file with drivers I'd like to integrate.

93.71_forceware_winxp2k_english_whql.exe

Can I extract all the files from the .exe via WinRAR and then point nLite to a "Multiple Driver Folder" - the folder being what I extracted?

Or should I just install it once the install is done?

install it first ... then use this tool: [utility] Driver Backup, Searches for and backs up installed device drivers ... once you have the drivers backed-up, insert it in the drivers section of nLite ...

Why go through all the trouble? Just extract the nVidia drivers using WinRAR then when you integrate the drivers in nLite, simply pick the XP folder of the nVidia drivers and you're done.

Well, I just tried integrating the driver using the backup utility's saved files. It only worked partially...

The drivers are installed and working perfectly, but I have no Nvidia Control Panel or tab in my display properties' advanced menu.

I need that menu/panel.

I believe that you'll need to silently install the drivers in that case since those are not technically drivers. They're utilities for the drivers.

By all means do that, just no need for multiple folder, it's single driver, select any inf from it while inserting.

If it is not WHQL signed then remove default Windows Display Drivers and it will install the betas as well.

Beta nVidia driver, like newest leaked, not on their official site...they are quite often.

Well Windows usually skip those while installing Windows and install Standard VGA driver instead. Then we remove it and thus force it to take the beta.
