dirtwarrior
I used hfslip with FDV and reducers along with nlite and got an iso around 80 mb with windows 2000, comitt is about 30 mb at first boot. I want to harden the install without using firewall and virus protection, and perhaps reduce the comitt a bit more.It is very stable and compatable with everything I use it for just looking for mor efficiency. Any ideas?
fdv
I am listening to "Trainspotting" by Primal Scream. Also, you actually do not need a firewall on Win2k using my fileset. I know that sounds pretty stupid, but give it a try and see, you'll be surprised. The OS is pretty shut tight by default. As for a virus checker, well, I can't see going without. After all, sometimes viruses hide in all sorts of known-good software. As you have it now, the OS is as efficient as you can get it. You could del more crap out of the registry I suppose.I am tired. Here are some pictures of cake.I'm comin' back on April 19 to try to get y'all to try somethin' new.
