thats right just wondering if anyone had tryed it.

i dont think sysprep is for unattended installations.. its used to prep a hdd for when a customer switches on theyre pc for the first time.. u can prep it up and image it ..might be useful for something

i got a CD with my PC which does that but that the end it also installs programs with sysprep and i was just think it could be done that way

I have used sysprep so that i create "Alpha" image for certain model of comps and set everything up. Software and such. Then run sysprep. After this when the image is copied to other computer it will ask neccessary question like user name etc.

Create unique identifyer ( SID ) for the comp and we have system up n' running.

Only bad thing is that it has to be used with system image so i won't support different technologies. HAL layer has to be same.
