vegettoxp Posted April 13, 2007 Author Posted April 13, 2007 (edited) But is Pioneer DVR-112D SATA? I need SATA Drives, not IDE and if anyone is wondering why I am going from IDE to SATA, the reason for that is that I heard that Intel's Upcoming X38 Chipset Motherboard will not have IDE Port. I am glad that they are kicking out the IDE and making SATA Mainstream. That why I need all my Roms to be SATA, NO IDE for me.THX! Edited April 13, 2007 by vegettoxp
spacesurfer Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 I have the samsung you mentioned in post#1. It's lightscribe capable. Works great so far. No coaster.I had an old Pioneer S106D (4x). For some reason, when people give me stuff, it would read anything from it. I bought this Samsung and it reads everything fine.I also burned some data DVD from Pioneer S106D. Later when I needed something, those DVD's are unreadable from any DVD drives. I'm not sure if it's bad media or if my Pioneer was messed up.
