Can someone please help on this. This is the notice I have been getting for the past few weeks when I try to run ****MY****Microsoft Digital Image Pro 9 software: MSN 9 Internet Software is not installed. If you are still an MSN subscriber, please install MSN 9 Internet Software. This application can only be used if you are a current MSN subscriber and have MSN 9 Internet Software installed.

If you are no longer an MSN subscriber, you can uninstall this application using the Add or Remove Programs Control Penel.

Download and install MSN 9 Internet Software

First of all, I was never a MSN subscriber nor do I want to join for X amount of $$$ per month.

I bought and paid for this software at a local store about 3 years ago. I just looked at the box and nowhere does it say I have to join or may someday have to join MSN to continue using the software.

I continue to have to reinstall the software every few days to use it.

Can someone please tell me how I can permanently get rid of this notice

Since the software is so old, I'd suggest switching to a new image program such as IrfanView, XnView, Picasa2, Paint.NET or The Gimp. All of which are freeware. Try them out.

Hi Jeremy ......... Yes, I know that I have had this software for about 3 years. But I did pay about $60.00 for it and I don't think that Microsoft has the right to charge me to continue using it!!!!

It would be the same as Microsoft sending a message to everyone that has Windows XP and telling them that if they want to continue using Win XP it is going to cost them a minimum of $14.99 per month. I think there would be alot of upset people...

For a program that is 3 years old and to tell you you have to be a member of something you've never been associated with in the past in order to use it, is very strange. I have no idea why that would be happening or how you would go about getting around it.

The fact of the matter is it would likely save you a lot of time, headache and money to use something modern and free that is probably a lot better than 3 year old software.

Take a screenshot of what it says to you next time it appears if you like. I don't think it would help that much but it's worth a shot.
