johndoe74 Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 (edited) I just downloaded a new IE7-XPSP2 patch KB933812 from xable and on extracting it was surprised to discover that it contains two separate versions of jscript.dll, the one in the SP2GDR folder is v5.7.0.16450 while the one in SP2QFE is v5.7.0.20550. I was wondering which of the two hfslip would integrate/slipstream and why? The one with the larger version number? What exactly would be the difference between the GDR and the QFE patches? the_guy Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 HFSLIP will always slipstream the QFE file, as it contains more fixes than the GDR version, even if it's the same version. It's been this way for a while now.the_guy
