HawkAgent
Hi,I'm making a XP install disk with some updates integrated. I copied my xp cd to my pc, integrated SP2 using nlite. While the nlite wizard is on the tweaking page, I'm using ryanvm's integrator to integrate the post sp2 pack. However the program is stuck on "Compressing Files"...Here is the log file 09-03-2007 20?7?9Log Startup @ 20:47:39 On 09-03-200720:47:39 - System Running: WIN_XP Service Pack 220:47:39 - RVMIntegrator v1.4.320:47:39 - C:\working\RVM_Integrator_1[1].4.3.exe20:48:07 - Windows XP Professional - Corporate SP2 Found20:48:48 - 20:48:48 - Source Drive = C:\working\xp_cd20:48:48 - Destination Drive = C:\working\xp_cd20:48:48 - Destination Size = 1409.37520:48:48 - Working Directory = C:\working\xp_cd\I38620:48:48 - Temp Directory = C:\working\xp_cd\I386\rvmtemp20:48:48 - 20:48:48 - Starting Integration20:48:48 - 20:48:48 - Checking Destination For OS Type.20:48:48 - Windows XP Professional - Corporate SP2 Found20:48:48 - Clearing any Read Only Attributes.20:49:28 - 20:49:36 - Extracting RVMUpdatePack2.1.7.7z20:49:36 - MD5 Hash = 0e5306b3a45ef1dfcf58655359b25ec320:51:04 - 20:51:04 - Gathering temp files20:51:07 - Expanding driver.cab20:54:09 - Expanding SP2.cab20:55:13 - Copying files for driver.cab repackaging.20:55:14 - Moving files for driver.cab repackaging.20:55:15 - Integrating XP Professional Files.20:55:15 - Compressing FilesAny suggestions? Joe K
Try running 1 program at a time. Use Either Integrator or NLite to combine your Source cd SP2 and Ryan's Update pack. Then do tweaking with NLite or do it all with Nlite.Joe
Siginet
Hmmm... according to your log files I don't see anything you did wrong.Although at the Compressing Files stage it will take a long time because there are a lot of files being compressed. In v1.5 I will be showing the files that are being compressed so you do not think it has hanged. This is caused by the updatepack having a huge amount of files to compress. You can use a tool called CVTAddon to re compress your updatepack file so that when you do integrations it will not need to do this part. It is a very time consuming area of the updatepack. In older versions of the UpdatePack the files came pre-compressed so integration times were much faster.Get CVTAddon made by: n7Epsilon! It is awsome! So there is nothing wrong at all. It's just I should have shown some sort of progress at that moment of integration because it takes so long.
