January 12, 200224 yr Has anyone had any difficulty accessing the Windows Update for XP? (using XP Corporate Version) The active-X installs, then scans for updates but after choosing them they don't download. Weird.

January 13, 200224 yr Author Ya I hope in a couple of days it will be fine. I was starting to think that Microsoft was blocking out XP Corporate users.
January 13, 200224 yr I wonder if you're getting a U.K. Microsoft site? [/quote:9412cc85c4]Most probably Conan.Hey Conan, does every patch/security update appear on Microsoft Update?I got a few patchs from warp2search the other day released by MS, but they were not on the update site, what gives?Gimie
January 13, 200224 yr the trick is to log on the cooperate windows update site..http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/d...?corporate=trueAfter going there click windowsupdate, select winxp pro (eng)..and proceeed.... you'll notice a total of 23 updates..I know there were a few ie problems, but they are now combined into 1 collective patchOther updates include (custom updates to drivers, etc...)For the lazy people who have the updates but wanna check how the site looks like .. check screenshothttp://www.geocities.com/bantoniou.rm/windows.JPG

I had some fixes stored on my drive though from earlier visits to the corporate update site.
January 14, 200224 yr Author Well I tried windows update again earlier and I was able to get some driver updates but there were no XP updates listed. They're probably doing some maintenance on the site.
January 14, 200224 yr The reason windows update is causing problems is because the site address has been changed, but xp still points you to the old address. There are instructions on how to rectify the problem here;http://www.neowin.net/bboard/showthread.ph...&threadid=10441Read the post by "DrZoidberg".His solution worked for me.
January 14, 200224 yr Having exactly the same problem with my edition of Corp (with a valid and new licence), MS seem to be somehow stopping the install.Updates seem to download but not install, very annoying to say the least.
