MS Private Folder and Vista

Featured Replies

Hi all!

I use MS Private Folder on my pc running Windows XP. I would like to use it on Vista. I tried to install it on my other PC running Windows Vista but I got error message.

I got this message after the setup tried to install files in DRIVERS folder.

"There is a problem with this Windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor"

Is there any way to install MS Private Folder on Vista?

Thanks in advance

Hi!

I hope too that an update will arrive. Yesterday Vista downloaded some updates, and after that when I tried again install Private Folder. Vista displayed a message that this is an unsopported application. :(

It seems that Vista updates a built in list of applications which Vista don't like.

Also I heard that MS removed Private Foder from the downloads... :(

just to update you, the vista release is out now and fully supporting 64 bit :) Enjoy

Is it possible for you to give us a download link for this build?
