Stretch videos in windows media player, is it possible?

I have my computer hooked up to my 1080P TV through DVI to HDMI. Most if not all videos I watch in Windows Media Player are 4:3. I personally prefer stretched or wide zoomed content, even with the quality distortion. Is there a way to stretch videos in WMP to full screen on a 16:9 monitor?


Media Player Classic can do this for you by simply resizing the window or specifying the window to fit your screen, as well as many additional options.
