I have my computer hooked up to my 1080P TV through DVI to HDMI. Most if not all videos I watch in Windows Media Player are 4:3. I personally prefer stretched or wide zoomed content, even with the quality distortion. Is there a way to stretch videos in WMP to full screen on a 16:9 monitor?

I use Nlite to Install windows and I always run with the administrator account. By mistake I created a user and windows will not let me delete that user since it is the only user OTHER THAN administrator. I want to delete that account. How can I do that so I can go back to Administrator being the only user?

I use Nlite and my recent install prevents me from using themes like Luna. Is it possible without formatting and reinstalling to "reinstall" the themes service so I can use luna again?

No software is going to be able to do something beyond what windows can do, within windows. Therefore, Nuhi cannot make Nlite format a drive for you during setup unless windows allowed it to happen which it does not. You should format the drive yourself before installing Windows.

Windows XP setup cannot format more than one drive at a time from what I understand. What I did to fix this was choose my D drive for installation, had setup quick format it to NTFS, then when the file copy process started, turned off my PC. Then I went into setup again and chose C drive for installation.

Wow this is embarassing. I figured out the problem after reading this microsoft article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...1&Product=winxp What I determined from that and looking at my PC, my D drive last attempted format had been corrupted during the format process. Since I was trying to instal my program files and profiles to D, I assume setup would assign D to the CDROM drive, and this would happen. Doh!

Any luck nuhi? I have reproduced the error everytime I try to install windows with various ways of doing Nlite and have no idea what is causing it.

This error occurs during the inital phase of setup after the format of my HD. Then setup restarts the PC.

I do not have a floppy disk drive that works and I want to update my bios. Asus instructions are for using a floppy disk. Is there a way to update a bios with a burned CDR? Maybe with a bootable one?

That entry already exists in the registry.

I should have explained that when I enter Explorer in run, windows explorer pops up instead of restarting the task bar.

I have my Windows XP Pro setup so that The Taskbar and Explorer run in a seperate process. Problem is that sometimes the taskbar will crash and not start up again. When this happenes with Explorer I run "explorer". So what should I run to get the taskbar and start menu back?

Is there a program or method to be able to install AOL without a lot of the junk that it comes with or to customize what does get installed?

I have the Promise SATA card. In the past Bashrats pack worked fine for my Windows XP Install. But I have gone through about 10 coasters now trying different things and I know everything is correct for getting the drivers to load at startup. For some reason they do not. The folder the files are under is m\p\ulsata. Everything is definitly correct. Any idea what I could be doing wrong? I used Method 1.

I have a Serial ATA hard drive connected to the Maxtor Serial ATA PCI Controller Card. I have literally tried everything I can find to get the installtion of windows to happen on that drive but no luck at all. If I try F6, after I format the SATA drive and it starts to copy files, when it tries to read the floppy it says cannot find files such as ULSATA.SYS and such. I have tried slipstreaming the files into my windows XP CD but without F6 the files never get loaded. When I skip loading those files and reboot the computer, if it tries to boot windows into setup the blue screen of death comes up. From my experience with computers I know this is because windows has not loaded the needed Maxtor Serial ATA PCI Controller card drivers, which needs to get loaded before the reboot after the repartition and format of the drive. I have read the guides on this forum and tried various things with no luck. Any help is greatly appriciated. Thanks!
