pulpfixtion
Can you believe it!!! In case anybody else is clumsy enough to copy and paste without checking. This is MS answer:SYMPTOMSWhen Windows 2000 Setup boots into GUI mode, you may receive the following error message: Fatal Error:An error has been encountered that prevents setup from continuing.Internal Setup data structures are corrupted (phase 0). CAUSEThis error message can occur if you are performing an unattended installation of Windows 2000 using a CD-ROM boot and there is a floppy disk containing an unattended Setup file that has been renamed to Winnt.sif in drive A. The error message occurs if the Winnt.sif file is missing the [Data] section of the file, or if some of the entries in the [Data] section are missing. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, edit the Winnt.sif file and place the appropriate entries in the [Data] section. For additional information about the [Data] section, please click the article number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: 216258 How to Perform Unattended Windows 2000 Installation from CD-ROM I had speech marks on 2 parts as shown - this caused th error![Data]Autopartition=0MsDosInititated="0"UnattendedInstall="Yes"

Aaron
looks like the winnt.sif file is perfect, Since I don't use Windows XP's notepad, nor do I have it installed, I'm aware it offers different encoding options for a txt file which you may need to check, as other users have had problems from winnt.sif depending on how it was encoded when its saved. animeittoogami
Hi, I had the some problem with my unattend xp cd. Without VM Ware I would toasted 6 cd´s for nothing. At the end I renamed the winnt.sif in capital letters (WINNT.SIF) to the i386 directory. And now ... I get no error message about setup structures any longer. Try it ...byeanimeittoogami

animeittoogami
Hi,I found the error in your [Data] line 3: MsDosInitated - that´s the wrong word. You must use MsDosInitiated and you get no error message about corrupt setup structures.byeanimeittoogami

What's worse is that I made it with http://b0r3d.msfnhosting.com/ so there will be a few p***ed/confused people out there
