changing default internet browser

Is there a way to change the default internet browser in vista from IE to firefox? or any other browser for that matter?

Control Panel > Internet Options > Programs Tab > Then click the Set Programs button, the last section in the window.

Noop,I can't change from IE to Opera!

I just installed and ran FireFox and it automatically changed it to the default.

tools>preferences > advanced > programs . Check if Opera is the default browser.

This options is checked,but every time when Opera start ask me if I like to be default browser and choose yes,but nothing changed.IE is still default browser and I can't change this in default programs!I use vista home basic.

Can anyone know how we can fix this??

I'am find small tool which one can done this job and now Opera is my default browser,but still not popup in defaults programs,strange

I did have this problem for a short period of time. It didnt work with some of the released versions of Opera but the Weekly Desktop Builds seem to stay as default just fine. I dont know if they have changed some coding or not but it works for me.
