starlightbright Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Hi, I have asked this question on a couple of forums, but have never been helped.Logging on is not straight forward, if I am not quick enough and press Window x p home edition it automatically goes on to Windows XP Setup, as it loading it reads press F6 to install SCSI Raid then it goes through to the end and reads SiSRaid.sys could not be found.I have pressed the F6 I decided to reinstall the Windows XP CD-R so I backed things up I needed and started to do it, I thought great this is going to be the end of my problem, the CD-R started running, then instead of reinstalling it came up with SiS Raid. sys. could not be found. So I am at a loss, I have also gone on device manager for raids uninstall and reinstall that has not helped the problemIs there anyone that can help me, on other forums I have had replies, but not one that has anything to do with the problem I am having, it looks as though no body knows what I can do, to repair the problem. If you know please can you help me
nmX.Memnoch Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Is your CD nLited or are you trying to do any sort of Unattended Setup?
Jeremy Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 I've used the SiS RAID Drivers before and it's very easy to get them properly integrated into your install CD. You can accomplish this flawlessly with nLite. You load up your source, select the Drivers section, add your SiS RAID drivers, and make sure the txtsetup.oem file is in the same folder, this will allow you to select your OS and then nLite integrates them. You reformat after backing up your files, install Windows, ignore the F6 option and your on your way.
nmX.Memnoch Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 One step at a time man... That's what I'm trying to figure out if he's done already. Because if he has and still presses F6 then the install will bomb.
