MtK Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Hi,I've accidently installed Daemon Tools on my Vista machine (without considering the version).Upon installation my PC restarted but never goes on again.I get a blue screen even on Safe Mode.Is there anyway to solve this?!
MtK Posted February 10, 2007 Author Posted February 10, 2007 OK, I managed to load Vista (last config on the Safe Mode menu). Now the D-Tool does not load, cause Vista is preventing it, but I can't uninstall it either.any ideas?
cluberti Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 You should be able to run system restore to the time right before you installed Daemon Tools, and reboot.
MtK Posted February 11, 2007 Author Posted February 11, 2007 You should be able to run system restore to the time right before you installed Daemon Tools, and reboot.no I wasn't able to do that because the computer won't come up with any Windows at all...
cluberti Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Boot from your Vista disc and repair it - you should get a system restore automatically.
SpikedCola Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 I had the same problem, but I used the last config option, and it booted vista fine, so I uninstalled and upgraded to 4.x, and all is good now.
