Egon's Dragon Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Hi, I'm a bit new to XP and the User Account functionality. When I install a program, it is usually in all user accounts. However, I installed Half-Life 2, and it is only in the user account (an admin account) that installed it. The installer didn't ask me to do this. Older games are in all users. My question is, is it possible to restrict program/application access to specific users? After I've already installed them?

Open My Computer or Windows Explorer, right click on the relevant Local Disk and select properties. It should display your File System somewhere towards the top.If you're on FAT 16 / 32 you can "convert" your File System to NTFS. Use CONVERT.EXE C: /FS:NTFS /V.
