DaveXP Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 Kill the Kid i would! Just format your PC back to Windows XP using the Windows XPCD.
ggtyh Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 Agree with DaveXP.Longhorn is still in alpha phase and is not ready for everyday use.
McDuck Posted October 3, 2003 Posted October 3, 2003 Your 10 year old kid got a hold of Longhorn, the key, burned it to a disk and installed it? WOW.

meyava Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 perhaps MBR or boot.ini problem1.you can start your pc from CD,then select repairing your system and use command "fix mbr"2.open the file "boot.ini"(system disk:\), locate the line "default",check the path. if it is wrong, correct and save itattrib the file -s -a -h -r
