Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 You do have .net framework installed right?
phkninja Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Ooopppppsss......Sorry, was skimming the info in your previouys post. Fell **** silly now. As Kelsenellenelvia said its prob a .net issue
contender Posted January 30, 2007 Author Posted January 30, 2007 Thank you for reply, windows vista have a build-in netframework 2.0from vlite.net: .NET Framework 2.0 32bit | 22MB | runtimes needed to run vLite (Vista already has it)
richardland Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I'm getting crashes trying to run nLite under Vista too, anyone have any inspiration on this?
chadness Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 You might want to double check that you do have .NET 2.0 installed. My version of Vista came with .Net 3.0, but I had to install version 2.

richardland Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 (edited) I downloaded and ran the 2.0 isntaller but it says "This product is already installed as part of the operating system", is there a better way to check I have it?Maybe it was that I wasn't running as Administrator, in fact thinking about it, that's probably it.edit: hmm nope, still crashes! AusLebowski Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 I'm sorry but nLite works fine with Vista, problem must be on your end. I'm using Vista RTM - Ultimate and it works fine, no crashing or any errors.
richardland Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Most of nlite works fine, it's just the hotfix integration that doesn't. I've tried 2 different update packs and they both crash it. (The standalone integrators for rv crashes too).
AusLebowski Posted February 22, 2007 Posted February 22, 2007 (edited) Hmm, nope it works fine for me, i just integrated "RVMUpdatePack2.1.7.7z" his direct x9 pack, all the programs i needed without crashing as well as all the other changes such as driver integration and the various tweaks. nuhi Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Tried it and no issues. Maybe someone knows what could trigger that, I did test on Vista Lite, could be that Defender maybe blocking it.
