Tarun Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Have you contacted the support team of Hide IP Platinum?
Tarun Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 You'll always get fast, accurate support from the company. Are you using a trial or did you purchase the software?
tal ormanda Posted January 30, 2007 Author Posted January 30, 2007 (edited) Trial, but it dont matter still the same thing would happenjust sent them an email. Edited January 30, 2007 by tal ormanda
Tarun Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 They may not give you support for a trial; but that usually varies per company. They have no forums either, only this: Technical Support: support@hide-ip-soft.comHave you checked your Firefox settings?
tal ormanda Posted January 30, 2007 Author Posted January 30, 2007 yes, the default language to read is english, i dont get it. im very mad at them now.
tal ormanda Posted January 30, 2007 Author Posted January 30, 2007 i fixed it, the proxy settings never change back after you close it. guess its a bug. i had to delete the proxy entered
Jeremy Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 I never understoof why people bother to use these "Hide IP Address" tools. They sucker users into the whole "anonymous browsing" scheme, it's ridiculous. What, so you can't tell what IP address the guy used when he went to said porn site? Give me a break...If anyone knows a plausible and practical benefit to using these tools, let me know.

Tarun Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Actually, it would get you reported to your ISP. Using it to get around school Internet filters isn't right either.
prx984 Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 (edited) At school I use hotspot shield to get onto MSN, but at home I use a direct connection to the internet. You may want to give that software a try, it's free. Just don't let it install anchorfree. Edited February 1, 2007 by prx984
Jeremy Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 The IP gets around my schools internet filter. You shouldn't be going to certain websites at school in the first place. Also if you get banned from a site like a forum it helps. If you get banned from a forum, it's pointless to spoof your IP to rejoin because the admins will find out and ban you again before you get an answer to anything you post.If people waited for the right time at the right place to do what they wanted to do, then "Hide Your IP" businesses would go bankrupt.
tal ormanda Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 Stop attacking me over what I said geez.
