Slow Moving Objects

basically......i used tweakui on my machine and now when ever something is goin to appear on the start bar, it takes like 5 or 6 seconds for it to appear on there and then the requested dialog comes up, now plz....i really wanna fix this without reinstalling windows

hmmm.. This happened to me as well when I used that program, I think I just reset everything back to defaults and and uninstalled the program and remove every trace of that program so it didn't exist on the computer, and restarted and it was fine. Worked a lot more faster try that out.

ok i tried but no luck, man its annoyin how ms f**k things up looool...........looks like a reinstall my be required ahhh i hate it :@

I Googled "Start Menu Delay" and got this:

Start > Run > regedit:

"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop" - Modify "Menu Show Delay" value to 0. Default value seems to be 400ms.

Does this resolve your issue?

nah its not that.....i know about that tweak, but you know the like tabs on the start bar, so when you have windows explorer open, its says windows explorer in the start bar, them objects apper slowly, anyways chances are when you read this i would have already installed windows......it is a major annonance lol

So when you open Windows Explorer, it takes 5-6 seconds for the button to appear in the taskbar? Does the application open up before this or after? If after, it's not a tweak it's likely a fragmentation problem.

it would take same amount of time to open as well.....its not a frag problem trust me....its a defo twaek ui thing...its ok i reinstalled windows....its fine....im gonna do some research into this....becasue twaek ui is very for basic stuff which i require, it could possibly related to nlite not sure im goin to look into it
