dread Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/ has Framework 2 with the hotfixes in it. Can nlite use that exe file and integrate it?
strotee76 Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Nope. On the page it states:"This installer cannot be run from svcpack.inf and requires Windows Installer 3.1 to be installed prior to it."I've had luck getting it to run from a batch file using this command:%systemdrive%\safe_to_delete\DOTNET2.EXE /quiet /passive /norestartGood luck.
Neo2x Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 (edited) Why use Ryan's .Net 2.0, when you can use RogueSpear's one that integrates smoothly from the Hotfixes section.Link: http://www.doitrightconsulting.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=8 (the Runtime Collection topic, the .zip Addons) Edited January 26, 2007 by Neo2x
dread Posted January 26, 2007 Author Posted January 26, 2007 That was the one I was using but every time I got everything installed my computer would bug out. Did some searching and fount out one of my errors is caused by .NET Framework V2.0. One of the errors I got was "The system is not fully installed". I am not sure if that is the real cause or not but that error is one of the errors I fount on these forums and ryanvm's forums.
Neo2x Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 (edited) I'm just assuming, but just in case. If you are installing this before the normal hotfixes, that could be a reason, you could try to do one nLite run with the hotfixes and another with addons, thats what I do and it goes perfectly fine. (I use the All in One Runtimes). Edited January 27, 2007 by Neo2x
dread Posted January 27, 2007 Author Posted January 27, 2007 I will try that. I was going to do that but did not think it made a difference. What All in One Runtimes are you talking about? The only All in One Runtimes I can find is the ones listed on ryanvm torrent tracker.
Neo2x Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Well, the name doesn't have AIO in it ^_^U, it just has almost all runtimes listed there, RogueSpear's Runtimes V2.2 is the correct name.
dread Posted January 28, 2007 Author Posted January 28, 2007 I am going to try RogueSpear's Runtimes V2.2. No matter what I do I get that error when I try to install Framework 1 and 2. I don't need all that extra stuff in RogueSpear's Runtimes V2.2 but if it will install both without any problems then I will use it.
