I need help wit svcpack.inf

I can't understand why, but it just skip the install of the hotfix

That's what i did:

i deleted the svcpack.in_

the folder with the hotfix is "SVCPACK"

Now this is my XPCD folder:

And this are the files:

winnt.sif

svcpack.inf

DOSNET.INF

I tryed also renaming I386 ---> i386, and i changed

this line in:

CatalogSubDir="\i386\SVCPACK"

in the file svcpack.inf

but it didn't work

Someone help my please!!!!

hum, try to rebuild uacd from start, beginning integrate svcpack method in first and try it .. after add wpi & other things ...

i just tried

i made a XPCD with only the hotfix

and i tryed 3 times

so i deleted the svcpack.in_

the folder with the hotfix is "SVCPACK"

i modifyed the dosnet.inf file adding:

[OptionalSrcDirs]

SVCPACK

#first time:

folder I386 with:

[setupData]

CatalogSubDir="\I386\SVCPACK"

in the svcpack.inf

#second time:

folder I386 with:

[setupData]

CatalogSubDir="\i386\SVCPACK"

in the svcpack.inf

#third time:

folder i386 with:

[setupData]

CatalogSubDir="\i386\SVCPACK"

in the svcpack.inf

really weird ... I'm not using SVCPACK myself, so wait for a member which is use SVPACK ...

Do you use a genuine source ? or an OEM source like Dell ?

i ve to install the hotfix via svcpack because i wouldlike to install

the net frameworks using the Silent .NET Maker who make a silent installer via svcpack.

this is the second unattended windows cd that i made, and the first time (about 6 mounth ago)

the svcpack method was working! so, i must made a big error, but i can't find it! LOL

maybe i must install the hotfix in another way, and install the frameworks via runonceex

p.s: i lost the source of the first unattended xp, so i m not able to compare the two source

i just modifyed the hotfix not the signature
