Nucleo Vega Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 I have MCE05 and every time i try to start Media Center, it just pops up as a big black window. I can hear it starting up and I can hear the buttons as my cursor hovers over them, but I can't get the program to show up fully...Is this a skin problem? I've reinstalled MCE a million times and I always get the same result. Nothing.any help would be awesome. thanks. (pic below)

Nucleo Vega Posted January 18, 2007 Author Posted January 18, 2007 (edited) haha it's funny. I was looking for a substitute program to view tv on and found Beyond TV. It also came with a video driver bundle (generic i suppose). I installed that and all of a sudden, media center started working! I had already tried to update my nvidia geforce mx440 drivers through windows, but no dice. The system said they were updated already.new problem: just found out my new tv tuner card doesn't work. i think it's a hardware issue. it installs, but is not recognized. I guess I'll start another topic loland thanks for the replies. you guys rock. Edited January 21, 2007 by Nucleo Vega
nitroshift Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 A word of advice: the word "crack" is not well tollerated here, so please do not mention it in the future. Please read the rules.
