nlite newbie questions

Hi Everybody,

I have had many unsucessfull attempts with integrating my Dell OEM Windows install disc with the SP2 updates. I have tried Autostreamer, Bart Pe and a run line command to attempt integration without any sucess. By sucess I mean the "finished product" showing either SP2.cab files or WIN51IP.SP2 files.

Is there any chance nlite would work when the other methods didn't? Has anyone had any experience with that?

One more question : Why does nlite require a microsoft net frame work update to 2.0, if I have the 1.1 net version on my computer? Are there any potential problems from going to 2.0 framework from a 1.1 framework?

Thanks!

I dont see any reason why the SP2 hotfix shouldnt integrate manually, however nlite may do what others cant.

nlite was written in .net 2.0 which is why the 2.0 framework is required. There are no known problems as 2.0 is backward compatible with 1.1. You can get framework 2.0 from microsoft's website if that makes you any more comfortable.
