BoardBabe
Anyone found a way to install the Adobe Photoshop CS3 beta silently?
nitroshift
Taken off adobe site:To install Photoshop CS2 in silent mode:1. Copy the Adobe Photoshop CS2 folder from the Photoshop CS2 CD to the location from which you intend to install the product (for example , a local disk or server).2. Open the Abcpy.ini file in the Adobe Photoshop CS2 folder and fill in the following fields with your license information :USERNAME=COMPANYNAME=SERIALNUMBER=INSTALLDIR=For example:USERNAME = John SmithCOMPANYNAME = Adobe SystemsSERIALNUMBER = 0000-0000-0000-0000-0000-0000INSTALLDIR= c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2Note: If you leave the INSTALLDIR= entry blank, then the silent installation will install files and folders to the default location.3. Save the Abcpy.ini file to the same folder from which you opened it. You can now install from this location on any Windows XP system using the MSI (Microsoft Installer).4. Choose Start > Run and type the following in the Open field:msiexec /i “[ path ]\Adobe Photoshop CS2.msi” /qnThe path is the location of the Adobe Photoshop CS2 folder in step 1.Don't know whether this applies to CS3 too, but you might try it. BoardBabe
Maybe I jumped to conclusions here. I didnt find the file Abcpy.ini when extracting the cs3 installer. And no .msi installer. Edited January 10, 2007 by BoardBabe
