Fedora Core 6

Featured Replies

has anyone tried it,

aparrently it looks pretty and has its own version of aero

if so what was it like?

compared to FC5 I think it sucks, my wide screen resolution was messed up(1440 X 900 looked like a full screen resolution on my widescreen monitor...only took up about 4/5 of the monitor) and there was an extra nic and i have no clue what that was.

I've tried it, but not the advanced display stuff (is it Compiz or Beryl here?).

It is a decent OS, as Fedora Core tends to be, but coming from the Debian side, I have to say that it isn't nearly as good as Debian, Ubuntu, or the like.
