Hiya All,

Looking forward to trying it out. Don't really care for the bootsplash though, we're trying to XPize, no?

Here's my favorite, don't remember its source (from here in the forums):

boot16.bmp

Cheers!

hmm, yea i thought this pack was meant to make 2000 look and feel like XP?

If so the bootscreen posted by nateklomp looks ace1!

1st: Patching is a must.

2nd: What about the screens of Windows 2000 server versions?

3rd: Because of 2nd the screen bitmap either have to be independend or need to be specialized by OS version...

dont use tclock or any of its kind its highly UNstable and will NOT improve anything AT ALL...

i think for the icon stuf we just nead that revolution pack dll thingy... and for the explorer part + start panel ... i just wish it was a bit more easy to code in C so someone could just play with the ros-explorer... its absolutely NOT badly coded its just plain awful to look at... and ofcaurce it has the mozilla plugin- build in witch is a REALY stupid idea...

Actually i'm testing with Tihiys 2.x ;) - no TClock!

Just testing ROS-Explorer doesn't satisfies - and my cpp skills have to be improved  This Prog will be an option fur future...

Little pushing :P

As this package should as simple as possible it patches only. Additional features will be only included in cX2K.

So suggestions graphical here are welcome but and features are please in the other thread...

I found the bug that patching bootscreen doesn't work on modern cpu's cause it doesnnt cover ntkrnlmp.exe/ ntkrnlpa.exe.
